Improving fire protection, increase security and reduce cost of insurance through technical and financial assistance.  Technical assistance is available for rural water supply planning and dry hydrant engineering.  Financial assistance is available through the wildland fire gear and dry hydrant grant programs. Addressing how backroads, a major taxpayer investment, can be effectively maintained without road gravel and sediment washing downhill and muddying our waters through financial and technical assistance.
