Rural Fire Protection - VT Rural Fire Protection Task Force State Wide Improving fire protection, increase security and reduce cost of insurance through technical and financial assistance. Technical assistance is available for rural water supply planning and dry hydrant engineering. Financial assistance is available through the wildland fire gear and dry hydrant grant programs.
