Air Quality

Issues relating to agricultural emissions, carbon sequestration and production of crops for alternative bio-based fuels.

  • NRCS Air Quality and Atmospheric Change

    The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service helps private landowners conserve our natural resources, and air resources are among those.  In fact, of the 79 resource concerns that are of focus to the NRCS 12 of them are in air resources.

  • Agricultural Air Quality Task Force

    This site serves as a repository of information about the task force, and provides public access to Federal Register notices, meeting minutes, reports and documents, and official communiqués from and about the task force.

  • Air Pollution Control Division (Vermont Dept. of Environmental Conservation)

    The Vermont Air Pollution Control Division (APCD) of the Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) implements state and federal Clean Air Acts. As part of this implementation, the APCD monitors air quality and air pollution sources, proposes regulations to improve existing air quality, ensures compliance with the regulations, and issues permits to control pollution from sources of air contaminants across the state.
